Botleys Mansion
Chertsey, Surrey
We had the pleasure of being part of Lauren & Joe’s beautiful wedding at the stunning Botleys Mansion in Surrey. Lauren and I first met at The National Wedding Show in London where we hit it off straight away! Lauren wanted a classic white and green wedding, she explained that flowers were an important part of the day and she wanted them everywhere!!! We had an initial meeting at our wedding showroom in Watford where we discussed ideas, favourite flower types and the magnificent church arch Lauren wanted us to create for her.
The church was beautifully dressed with huge urns of flowers and foliage for the guests to see and then the arch……OMG!!! I loved the arch - made on site by head florists Paulie and Tracey - and I have seen the photographs of it used all over social media and in numerous magazines as it was just breathtaking. What a thing to take your vows under…wowzers!!!
Lauren chose beautiful scented peonies, sweet peas, roses, herbs and foliage for her bridal bouquet which looked stunning with her lace covered bridal gown.
After visiting Botleys Mansion I was over the moon when Lauren and her mum, Mary agreed to have the external staircase dressed with amazing florals. It really set the tone for the arrival of the 250 wedding guests.
The stairs were dressed with silver storm lanterns, candles and petals. Upon entering the grand mansion house guests were then guided into the stunning orangery.
25 magnificent domes of white and cream flowers stood like soldiers on the tables surrounded by candles and bud vases, it looked incredible, so fresh and crisp on a hot summers day and one of my personal favourite weddings in the past year.
I was honoured to be part of Lauren and Joe’s big day and I can’t wait to be part of Kirsten’s wedding (Lauren’s sister) in August 2018!
Big Love Guys,
